Why this Blog

Why?

Well, a couple of years ago, I got a banjo and being french-canadian (I do prefer the term québécois) I tried to play french-canadian tunes. My first thought was to search the Internet but to my dismay and I couldn't find anything, well except for some adaptation of La Bastingue and Reel Gaspé.

So, this is and attempt at an Educational Blog to help anyone who is interested  in playing this repertoire.
Unfortunately, I have limited english skill and a limited recording knowledge and capacity.
